Our beginnings date back to 1926, where Garners News started as a local newsagents based in South Street, Eastbourne, opened by Horice Garner. During this period, Garners operated a small delivery service to the surrounding neighbourhood. Once World War II had commenced Jack, Horice's son, took over the runnings and expanded the delivery service. By 1981, Jack's son Micheal ran the shop, and in 2007, Michael retired and his son, William, took over the reigns. William has expanded Garners News into the large newspaper delivery enterprise it is now.
