Garners News was first formed in 1926 by Horice Garner as a newsagents located on South Street in Eastbourne. In its beginning Garners supplied a small number of papers to the close local area. When World War II began Jack, Horice’s son took over the shop and in this time increased the delivery service. In 1981, Horice’s grandson and Jack's son Michael took over the shop and in 2007, Michael handed the reigns to William, his son. William transformed Garners News from a newsagent to a modern Newspaper Delivery Company.
